The Forgotten

Trailer

Okay so I may have fallen asleep the first time I tried to watch this movie, but that's because it was late and I was tired. A few days later I remembered I was watching it and decided to finish it to get it off the Instant Queue on Netflix. I almost fell asleep again.

First of all, The Forgotten is confusing in the not-so-fun way. Nothing makes sense at all and the ending doesn't even explain the whole point of anything either unless I was too out of it to understand what was going on. The plot itself was pretty dry and since nothing gets explained it's not worth watching.

The main character named Telly (a stupid name) was played by Julianne Moore. I am not a fan of Moore because of her small role on 30 Rock in which she had to pretend to have a Brooklyn accent. Her version of said accent was the worst I have ever heard. Now it bothers me pretty much every time I even see the woman.

I give it: 4/10

Leap Year

Trailer

Okay I don't have much to say for this movie except that I didn't really like it. At all. It's a movie where you know the ending right from the start and nothing in between makes it worth getting to that way too predictable ending. Even though it was supposed to be a romantic comedy, the romance was bad and the comedy was also bad. I don't think the movie made me laugh even once.

I give it: 4/10

Paper Heart

Okay so this is definitely a weird movie for me to pick to watch, but I did. Pretty much just for Michael Cera who I loved in Scott Pilgrim vs the World. His cute charm was also in this movie, but the movie in general was lacking. The premise is this: the main character, Charlyne, doesn't believe in love, so she sets out making a documentary about what love is. On the journey she meets someone and a relationship between them beings to form.

Overall, Paper Heart was kinda boring to be blunt about it. There were a few parts that made me smile, mostly the parts where they had the little sections where cardboard people were used. Plus the part where Charlyne interviews a bunch of kids in a park about what they think love is.Those kids were just so darn cute. The ending was also pretty funny, but honestly not worth watching the whole rest of the movie to get to.

I give it: 4/10
