Holy crap this is the weirdest manga I have ever read. I'm kind of glad it's only two volumes just to save the world from contamination of such weirdness. That may be a little bit harsh, but honestly if you read it I'm sure you'd agree.
Freaky fish run rampant in this manga and not in a cool "yay fish" way. The fish get creepy and even beyond creepy. Junji Ito (the mangaka) must have been on something when he did this.
The plot is... wait there was a plot? Hard to notice. I guess that makes sense because this is a horror manga but still. There were more panels about the freakishly grotesque fish-things than actual talking about what the heck was going on in the book.
This manga turned me off to wanting to read any other horror manga because of how bad it was. I know it's unfair of me to do that but that's just how bad this manga is. Maybe I'll try to find one that actually has a plot and doesn't involve mutating fish.
I give it: 2/10
