Whoah. A book. That's right, I now have time to read books so I'll be reviewing them too. So this one I just saw at work and thought it looked cool; that's right, I judged a book by its cover. Don't worry I did actually read it.
The story goes like this: a girl named Emily Webb is a geek. Another girl named Emily Cook gets killed and then Em Webb begins to act strange at night. She turns into someone completely different aka not a geek and goes to parties. Emily has no idea why it happens but she can't stop it. In her other personality she gets in trouble that her normal personality has to deal with. Oh and just warning you werewolves do become involved in the story at one point. Which was weird and unexpected.
It was pretty good in keeping you involved in the story and making you want to keep reading, but it wasn't one that you had to constantly be reading until you finish it. I did like that it's a different idea than typical teen books, although not completely unique. It was also nice that Buffy was referenced a few times. Plus, the entire book wasn't about romance which is definitely a nice break from normal books.
I give it: 7/10
