Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2

Trailer

I just cannot believe it's over. Harry Potter has been part of my life pretty much ever since it came out; I've seen every single movie in theaters and it's weird to think that there won't be any more new ones. The story of Harry Potter is pretty much a universal language. Everyone knows about Harry Potter whether they like it or not. The story of JK Rowling is just as amazing as the world she created. She was poor but once the story of "The Boy Who Lived" started becoming known around the world, she quickly became rich; so rich that she's rumored to have more money than the Queen of England. But anyways, Harry Potter has a huge fanbase of people of all ages and it's understandable. It has aspects of it for everyone.

I was lucky because I saw the movie on the Monday of the week it came out; 4 days before everyone else in America could see it, and I even got to see it for free. The IMAX 3D was pretty cool, but not too much of it was actually 3D looking. If you've seen the newest Pirates in 3D it was about the same as that.

Moving on, the last of the Harry Potter movies did not disappoint. Although the whole scene with Harry and Voldemort jumping off the bridge thing together was completely irrelevant and never even happened in the book, other than that it followed pretty close to the book. The only way I was disappointed was how (SPOILER ALERT) they rushed by the death scene for the major characters of Fred, Tonks, and Lupin. Those were major characters and they only really devoted one scene to them. Regardless, I still wanted to see the movie again right after it was over. Not basing the movie off of the books, it was awesome, and basing it off the books it was still well done.

I give it: 10/10
